Dear All,
We are going to start a monthly round robin doubles event. It will be on the 2nd Sunday of the month and likely to be 11-3.30pm.
The format will be round robin in groups of 8 players, meaning that you will play a round with every person in the group, but be competing as an individual. The games will be one fast 4 set, first pair to 4 games with a tie-break at 3-3. Entry will be £2 with a prize for the overall winner. Please note that new balls will not be provided, so please bring a decent set of balls to play with.
For the first event (10th April) it will be a ladies only event, but the following dates will be mixed or a men’s and a ladies. Please register your interest in taking part to Jen (tournament secretary) by email sltctournamentsecretary@gmail.com or Whatsapp 07971529006 by 1st April. Assuming more than 8 people express an interest, the players will be selected at random.
We will send another email with information about upcoming events. Provisional dates are below:

– 8th May
– 12th June
– 10th July
– 14th August
– 10th Sept – SLTC tournament finals weekend (no round robin event)
